Remain Calm
Once the door is locked behind you, it’s common for escapers – especially newbies – to feel overwhelmed or unsure where to begin. Knowing that your allotted time is quickly disappearing can also add to the pressure and panic that you’re likely to initially feel.

Think of a System Beforehand
Now, this might sound tedious, but thinking of an ordered system is one of the best ways to complete a room in record time. Do this by delegating roles to each group member and choose an easily accessible area of the room to place any keys, objects and clues from the escape room puzzles. This way, you won’t lose anything important to the narrative or lose any time figuring out who has what.
Think Simple
Escape rooms have a great mix of mind-bending brainteasers and must simpler straight-to-the-point puzzles that don’t require much thinking at all. You should keep this in mind when you’re in there – sometimes the answer you’re looking for is hiding in plain sight!
